the area of rectangle is same as that of a square of side 16m. if the length of the rectangle is 32m, find its perimeter.

Area of Square = 16^2 = 256.

Area of rectangle = 32 * B

 Given that Area of the rectangle is same as that of the side of a square.

32 * B = 256

 B = 8.

Perimeter = 2L + 2B = 2 * 32 + 2 * 8

                                  = 64 + 16

                                  = 80m.

Now ,let the breadth be( x )m.then,
Area of Rectangle =length×breadth
=>256=32x
=>x=8m
