as we know area of rectangle = l×b
hence it is given that l=x+9y

(x+9y)×b=xsqare+12xy+27ysqare
therefore b=xsqare+12xy+27ysqare/x+9y
by deviding
b= x+3y
hence it is given that l=x+9y
