Let the breadth of the rectangular plot be b, then the length of the plot will be 1.5b.

Now the area of the rectangular plot = b*1.5b = 1.5b^2 = 2400, or

b^2 = 2400/1.5 = 1600, or b = 40 m

The Length of the plot is thus 60 m and the breadth is 40 m. Hence the perimeter of the rectangular plot = 2(60+40) = 200 m.

area=l*b
let breath=x
length=x/2
x*x/2=2400
(x)2=2400*2
(x)2=4800
x=√4800
x=69
length=34
perimeter=2*(l+b)
=2*(69+34)
=206
