Perimeter=4*length of side. Because all sides of rhombus are equal.

=>Length of side=56/4=14cm

Area=base*altiude

Any side can be considered base.

Altitude=Area/base=Area/(Any Side)=119/14

=8.5cm.

8.5cm is the altitude of the rhombus.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Area of rhombus = 119 cm^{2}

The Perimeter of the rhombus = 56cm

Let the side of the rhombus be s;

4s = 56cm

s = 56/4

Thus, side = 14cm

As we know,

Area of rhombus = side * height

119 = 14cm * height

Height/altitude of the rhombus = 119/14

= 8.5 cm
