Step-by-step explanation:

Hope this is helpful. Refer to the above screenshot for step by step explanation.

A = Pq/2

q = 4a

a = √P² + q²/2

P = √2P² + 4(A/P)²

= 2√12² + 4(96/12)²

40cm

Given :-

  • Area of Rhombus = 96cm²
  • One Diagonal of the Rhombus = 12cm

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • Length of its Side .

 \\  \\

Solution :-

 \\

Area of the Rhombus

⇒ Area = ½ × Product of Diagonal

⇒ 96 = ½ × 12 × Diagonal

⇒ 96 = 6 × Diagonal

⇒ 96/6 = Diagonal

16 = Diagonal

________________

 \\

Side of the Rhombus

⇒ Side = ½ × √(Diagonal)² + (Diagonal)²

⇒ Side = ½ × √(12)² + (16)²

⇒ Side = ½ × √144 + 256

⇒ Side = ½ × √400

⇒ Side = ½ × 20

⇒ Side = 10cm

So, Side of Rhombus is 10cm
