Explanation -:

Given :

  • Area of a rhombus = 98m²
  • One of it's diagonal = 14m

To Find :

  • Other diagonal length

Solution :

Let us assume the other diagonal as 'x'

 \large\boxed { \rm{Area \:  of \:  a  \: rhombus  = \frac{1}{2} \times product \: of \: diagonals   }}

 \small \rm\pmb{ 98 {m}^{2}  = \frac{1}{2} \times 14 \times x }

➻ \small\rm {98 \times 2= 14 \times x}

 ➻\small\rm{196 = 14 \times x}

 ➻\small\rm{ \frac{196}{14} = x }

 \small{ \rm{x = 14}}

 \small \fbox{\rm{Length \: of \: another\: diagonal \:  =14m }}

 \large \fbox{\rm{Additional Information}}

  •  \small\rm{Area  \: of  \: a  \: parallelogram = Base × Height}
  •  \small\rm{Perimeter  \: of \:  the  \: rhombus = 4a}
  •  \small\rm{Perimeter  \: of \:  a  \: parallelogram  = 2 (a + b)}
