the area of right angled triangle is 600cm.If one side is 30cm find other two sides

Hey MATE!

Area of triangle = 1/2* base * height

$600 = \frac{1}{2} \times 30 \times x \\ \\ x = 40 \: cm$

To find hypotenuse we apply Pythagoras theorem.

y² = 40² + 30²

y = √(40² + 30²)

y = 50 cm

ankithpratheesh21: the area of the triangle is ½bh. sub. h=30 so you will get base as40. using Pythagoras theorem solve it. you will get hypotenuse as 50
