perimeter equal to the perimeter of the square field. Find the area of the rectangular field.

length of a side of square = square root of 2304m= 48m

perimeter of square = 4*48 = 192m

hence perimeter of rectangle = 192m

= 2(2x+x ) = 192

3x =192/2 =96

x = 96/3= 32

2x = 32*2 = 64

hence area of rectangle = 64*32=2048
