Answer:

Area of square=49cm sq.

length=7

perimeter of square=4*side

4*7=28

perimeter of square=perimeter of rectangle

p of rectangle= 2(l+b)

let breadth be x

2(9.5+x)=28

19+2x=28

2x=28-19

x=9/2

x=4.5cm

Answer:

Breadth = 4.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the side of square be a

Area of square = 49cm^2

Side of square = a*a = 49cm^2

= a^2 =49

= a=7cm

perimeter of square = 4 *a =4*7=28cm

Now,

ATQ ,

perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

28cm =2(l+b)

28/2=l+b

14=l+b

14=9.5+b

14 - 9.5=b

b=4.5cm

Breadth of rectangle is 4.5 cm
