If a circle is inscribing a square in it then, diameter of circle =diagonal of square.
i.e =>diagonal of square=10cm
Also,diagonal of square of side a,
=>√2 a=10
=>a=10/√2
Square area =a^2=(10/√2)^2
=100/2=50 cm^2
i.e =>diagonal of square=10cm
Also,diagonal of square of side a,
=>√2 a=10
=>a=10/√2
Square area =a^2=(10/√2)^2
=100/2=50 cm^2
