The area of the base of a circular cylinder is 35cm square and it's height is 8cm.Find (1) Volume (2) Total surface area

Area of base =35cm²

=Area of circle = 35cm²

= πr²=35

=(22/7)r²=35

=r²=(35×7)/22

Volume = πr²h

=(22/7)×[(35×7)/22]×8

=35×8

=280cm³

TSA= 2πr(h+r)

= 2×(22/7)×√[(35×7)/22]×{8+[(35×7)/22]}

=(44/7)×7√(5/22)×[8+7√(5/22)]
