Given:-

  • The sum of three consecutive natural number is 36.

To Find:-

  • The Numbers.

Now,

Let,

  • First Number = x

  • Second Number = x + 1

  • Third Number = x + 2

Therefore,

→ x +( x + 1 )+( x + 2 ) = 36

→ 3x + 3 = 36

→ 3x = 33

→ x = 33/3

→ x = 11

Now,

→ First Number = x → 11

→ Second Number = ( x + 1) → 11 + 1 = 12

→ Third Number = ( x + 2 ) → 11 + 2 = 13.

So, The Numbers are 11, 12, & 13 respectively.

VERIFICATION:-

→ Sum of three Consecutive Number = 36

→ 11 + 12 + 13 = 36.

→ 36 = 36.

Given:- sum of three consecutive natural number is 36

Solution :-

Let the three consecutive natural numbers be n, n+1, n+2.

Given that sum of the numbers is 36.

 \longrightarrow \sf \: n + n + 1 + n + 2 = 36 \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: 3n  + 3 = 36 \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: 3n = 33 \\ \longrightarrow \sf \: n =  \frac{33}{3}  \\ \longrightarrow \sf \:  \boxed{\boxed{  \purple{ \sf{n = 11}}}}

So, the value of n is 11.

Numbers will be, 11, 11+1=12, 11+2=13.

Extra information:-

Consecutive number: the numbers which follow each other in equal interval, smaller to greater number.

Example- 11, 12, 13 and 1 , 2, 3 etc.
