Given:

Area of base of a right circular cylinder is 1386 cm²

Height of the cylinder is 14 cm.

Find:

Volume of the cylinder

Solutions:

Let the radius of the right circular cylinder be 'r' cm.

We know that,

The area of the base of a right circular cylinder = πr²

=> 1386 = 22/7 × r²

=> 1386 × 7 = 22 × r²

=> 9702 = 22 × r²

=> 9702/22 = r²

=> 441 = r²

=> √441 = r

=> 21 = r

=> r = 21cm.

Now,

The volume of the cylinder = πr²h

=> 22/7 × 21 × 21 × 14

=> 22 × 21 × 21 × 2

=> 44 × 441

=> 19404cm²

Hence, the volume of the right circular cylinder is 19404 cm³.

I hope it will help you.

Regards.

the base of a right circular cylinder = πr²

1386 = πr²

r² = 1386× 1/π = 1386×7/22

= 9702 /22 = 441

r² = 441

r= 21cm

volume of cylinder = πr²h =

22/7×21²×14

= 44×21²

= 19,404cm³
