The area of the base of a right circular cylinder is 9π cm² then the diameter of the base will be 6 cm​.

We can simply find the diameter of the base of the right circular cylinder by using the following formula,

  Area of the base of right circular cylinder = πr²

                                                                    9π  = πr²

                                                                     9  = r²

                                                                     3 = r

As we know, Diameter is twice the radius, then

                    Diameter = 2 * radius

Diameter of the base  = 2* 3

                                      = 6 cm

∴ The diameter of the base is 6 cm.

Hence, the area of the base of a right circular cylinder is 9π cm² then the diameter of the base will be 6 cm​.
