We will calculate surface area of the box to find the area of the cardboard needed to make the box (Cuboid).

  • Length of the box = 24cm
  • Breadth of the box = 12cm
  • Height of the box = 5cm

Formula for Area of cuboid

= L X B X H

Therefore,

=> 24cm X 12cm X 5cm

=> 1440 cm^3

Hence, the area of the cardboard needed to make a box of size 24cm X 12cm X 5cm will be 1440 cm^3.
