The circle that can be inscribed inside the square would have it's center in exact center of the square and that point would be equidistant from all the sides of the square.


The distance between that point and side of square would be half of side of square:-


\frac{6}{2} = r

r = 3cm


So, area of circle is:-


=πr²

=\frac{22}{7} x 3 x 3

=\frac{198}{7}

=28.28 cm² (approx)
