and the point of contact let say P

so now triangle pdc is a right triangle with perpendicular sides PC and PD

so area of the triangle PDC = 1/2* 5*4 = 10

and area of the rectangle EPBA is = 8*10=80

next figure is a hexagon which we can divide into 6 equilateral triangles with side 8cm

so area of the hexagon = 6* (√3/4)8*8

6*√*2*8

96√3

so add all the areas = 96√3+80+10= 96√3+90
