the area of the four walls in a room is 120 m square the length of the twice the breadth if the height of the room is 4 m find the area of the floor

Height =4m

Let breadth be x

Then length =2x

Area of 4 walls of room=120m^2

2 (l+b)h=120

2 (2x+x)×4=120

2×3x×4=120

3x×8=120

3x=15

x=5

Breadth=5m

Length =10m

Area of floor=l×b

= 10 × 5

= 50m^2
