Hey mate!

Here is your answer > >

Breadth of room=8 m

Height of room=6 m

Length of room=?

Area if 4 walls of room=156 m^2

2 (l+b)*h=156

2 (l+8)*6=156

12 (l+8)=156

l+8=156/12

l+8=13

l=13-8

l=5 m

Length of the room=5 m

Hope it helps!

Given :

The area of the four walls of a room is 156 meter square.

To Find :

If the breadth and height are 8 meter and 6 meter respectively. Find the length of the room.

Solution:

Area of 4 walls = 2(l+b)h

Breadth of wall = 8 m

Height of wall = 6 m

Area of 4 walls =2(l+8)(6)

We are given that area of the four walls of a room is 156 meter square.

So, 2(l+8)(6) = 156

l+8=\frac{156}{12}\\l=\frac{156}{12}-8

l=5

Hence The length of room is 5 ,
