The area of the rectangle is 30 cm 2. If one of its side's is 6 3/4 cm, find the other.​

Therefore,the other side of the rectangle is 40/9 cm

Given:

area of the rectangle=30 cm²

one of the sides of the rectangle=6 3/4 =27/4 (here I converted the mixed fraction  into fraction or rational no.)

Solution:

let the other side be a

30 cm²=27/4×a

30÷27/4=a

30×4/27{reciprocal of 27/4 is 4/27}=a

40/9=a

Therefore,the other side of the rectangle is 40/9 cm
