One side = 24/4 = 6m
Area of rhombus = b*h
42 = 6h
42/6 = h
Altitude = 7m

Meww: mark as brainliest
thanweera: area of rhombus is 1/2 d1xd2
Meww: both formulas are crct ;)
thanweera: how?? plz tell me
Meww: Both r formulas.. so u can see wht all is given in the ques n use accordingly
thanweera: actually area of parellelogram is bh
Meww: and rhombus is also a parallelogram
Meww: so its crct.. ;)
thanweera: ok..frnd :)

given that

perimeter = 24
one side = 24/4 = 6

area of the rhombus = 42
                        b×h = 42
                        6×h = 42
                            h = 42/6
                            h = 7
∴ the height is 7cm
