Given area=54cm^2
One of the side = 12cm
Let us consider base as 12cm and height as x
Now
Area = 1/2 *b*h
54=1/2*12*h
54=6*h
h =54/6
h=9
Now for perimeter we need to find hypotenuse
Thus by pythagoros
a^2 +b^2 =c^2
12^2 +9^2 =c^2
225=c^2
Thus, c=15
Now perimeter
P =a+b+c
=12+9+15
=36cm

Answer:

36

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:- Area of the right traingle 54cm

one of the side is 12cm

Let the height be considered as x

Solution:- Area of the right traingle:- 1/2*b*h;

54=1/2*12*h;

54=6h;

h=54/6

=9cm

Now we will find the hypotenuse by using pythogoras theorem that is

hy=\sqrt{b^2+h^2}

=\sqrt{144+81}

=\sqrt{225}

=15cm

Perimeter=h+b+hy (sum of three sides of the right-angled triangle)

=9+12+15

=36cm
