area =  \frac{60}{360} \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {6}^{2}  \\  \\  =  \frac{6 \times 22 \times 36}{36 \times 7}  \\  \\  = 18.85 \:  {cm}^{2}

area is sector= theta/360*πr^2

theta= 60

r=6cm

area = 60/360*36π

=6π cm^2
