Let the sides be 3x and 5x

ATQ
384=half *sum of parallel sides *height
384=half*(3x+5x)*12
384=8x*6
384=48x
384/48=x
X=8

Sides are 3x=24cm
5x=40cm

 \frac{1}{2}  \times (3x + 5x) \times 12 = 384 \\  \frac{1}{2}  \times 8x \times 12 = 384 \\ 4x \times 12 = 384 \\ 4x = \frac{384}{12}  \\ 4x = 32 \\ x =  \frac{32}{4}  \\ x = 8 \\ length \: of \: parallel \: sides = 3x \\ 3 \times 8 \\ 24cm \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: 5x \\ 5 \times 8 \\ 40cm
