$\Rightarrow 450 = 1 \times (15 + x) \times 5$

$\Rightarrow 450 = 1 \times (15 + x)$

$\Rightarrow 450 = 75 + 5x$

$\Rightarrow 450 - 75 = 5x$

$\Rightarrow 375 = 5x$

$\Rightarrow \dfrac{375}{5} = x$

$\Rightarrow 75 = x$

Area of the trapezium = 450m²

Height = 10m

One parallel side = 15m

we know , area = ½ × sum of parallel sides × height.

Let the other parallel side be x.

450m² = ½ × (15 + x) × 10

450 = (15 + x) × 5

450/5 = 15 + x

90 = 15 + x

75 = x.

Hence the other parallel side is 75 m.
