let the sum of parallel sides be (x+y).
1/2×(x+y)×h=area of the trapezium.
1/2×(x+y)×15m=300m²
x+y=(300m²×2)/15
x+y=40m

now, x+y=40m
x-y=16m
=>x=16+y
by substituting, we get,
=>16+y+y=40
16+2y=40
2y=40-16
2y=24
y=24/2
y=12m
x+y=40m
x+12m=40m
x=(40-12)m
x=28m
therefore, the length of the parallel sides are 12m and 28 m.
