Given :
Area = 12 m²
Height = 3 m
Now ,
Area of a trapezium = 12 m²
1/2× 3× Sum of parallel sides = 12
3/2 × Sum of parallel sides = 12
Sum of parallel sides = 12×2/3
= 4×2 = 8 m
The sum of parallel sides is 8 m .

Hey!!
Here is your answer..
Area of trapezium=> 12sq.m
Height => 3 m
Sum of parallel sides => ?
![\textbf{Area of trapezium=>} \\<br />\textbf{12sq.m }\\ <br /><br />\textbf{Height => 3 m} \\ <br /><br />\textbf{Sum of parallel sides =>} \\ \textbf{?} \textbf{Area of trapezium=>} \\<br />\textbf{12sq.m }\\ <br /><br />\textbf{Height => 3 m} \\ <br /><br />\textbf{Sum of parallel sides =>} \\ \textbf{?}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Ctextbf%7BArea+of+trapezium%3D%26gt%3B%7D+%5C%5C%3Cbr+%2F%3E%5Ctextbf%7B12sq.m+%7D%5C%5C+%3Cbr+%2F%3E%3Cbr+%2F%3E%5Ctextbf%7BHeight+%3D%26gt%3B+3+m%7D+%5C%5C+%3Cbr+%2F%3E%3Cbr+%2F%3E%5Ctextbf%7BSum+of+parallel+sides+%3D%26gt%3B%7D+%5C%5C+%5Ctextbf%7B%3F%7D)
Area of Trapezium =>

![12 = \frac{1}{2}\times \: sum \: of \: parallel \: sides\times \: \\ 3 12 = \frac{1}{2}\times \: sum \: of \: parallel \: sides\times \: \\ 3](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=12+%3D+%5Cfrac%7B1%7D%7B2%7D%5Ctimes+%5C%3A+sum+%5C%3A+of+%5C%3A+parallel+%5C%3A+sides%5Ctimes+%5C%3A+%5C%5C+3+)
![\frac{12 \times 2}{3} = sum \: of \: parallel \: sides \frac{12 \times 2}{3} = sum \: of \: parallel \: sides](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Cfrac%7B12+%5Ctimes+2%7D%7B3%7D+%3D+sum+%5C%3A+of+%5C%3A+parallel+%5C%3A+sides)
![\frac{24}{3} = 8 \frac{24}{3} = 8](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Cfrac%7B24%7D%7B3%7D+%3D+8)
Hence, The sum of parallel sides is 8 m.
