Given :

Area = 12 m²

Height = 3 m

Now ,

Area of a trapezium = 12 m²

1/2× 3× Sum of parallel sides = 12

3/2 × Sum of parallel sides = 12

Sum of parallel sides = 12×2/3

= 4×2 = 8 m

The sum of parallel sides is 8 m .

Hey!!
Here is your answer..

Area of trapezium=> 12sq.m
Height => 3 m
Sum of parallel sides => ?

 \textbf{Area of trapezium=&gt;} \\<br />\textbf{12sq.m }\\ <br /><br />\textbf{Height =&gt; 3 m} \\ <br /><br />\textbf{Sum of parallel sides =&gt;} \\ \textbf{?}

Area of Trapezium =>
 \frac{1}{2} \times sum \: of \: parallel \: sides \times \\ height

12 = \frac{1}{2}\times \: sum \: of \: parallel \: sides\times \: \\ 3

 \frac{12 \times 2}{3} = sum \: of \: parallel \: sides

 \frac{24}{3} = 8

Hence, The sum of parallel sides is 8 m.
