Given :

  • Area of trapezium = 1500 cm²

  • Length of parallel side ( P₁ ) = 10 cm

  • Height of trapezium = 8 cm

To Find :

  • Lenght of parallel side ( P2 )

Solution :

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × h ( P₁ + P₂ )

→ 1500 = 1/2 × 8 ( 10 + P₂ )

→ 1500 = 4 ( 10 + P₂ )

→ 1500 = 40 + 4P₂

→ 4P₂ = 1500 - 40

→ 4P₂ = 1460

→ P₂ = 1460/4

→ P₂ = 365 cm
