the area of trapezium is 182 sq cm. its height is 14cm. the shorter parallel side is shorter than the other one by 16 cm. find the lengths of the parallel side

let the length of parallel side be x and x-16 respectively..
area=182sq.cm
height=14cm
use this formula
Area of trapezium=1/2(sum of parallel sides)×h




fill the equation and solve it


then you can get the value of x

put the value of x in the the parrel sides then you can get the answer
