the area of trapezium is 182cm².Its height is 14cm the shorter parallel side is shorter than other one by 16cm.Find the length of the parallel sides.​

Answer:

Let the longer parallel side be x and shorter be x-16cm. then,1/2×(x+x-16)×14cm=182cm^2. (2x-16cm)×7cm=182cm^2. 2x-16cm=26cm 2x=26cm+16cm. x=42cm/2=21cm. the longer side=21cm, shorter side =21cm-16cm=5cm.
