The area of trapezium is 368m² . If one parallel side is 5cm and height is 12 Cm . Find the another parallels side?

Area of a trapezium = 1/2 * (a+b) * h

where a and b are parallel sides and h is height of trapezium

According to problem , a=5 cm and h=12 cm

So 368 = 1/2 * (5+b)*12

⇒ 368/6 = 5+b

⇒b = 368/6 -5 = 338/6

So other parallel side is 56.33 cm
