Answer:

Area of trapezium = 480 cm²

Distance between two parallel sides is 15cm. Means height of trapezium is 15cm.

One parallel side = 20 cm.

To find :- Other parallel sides.

\sf\blue{SolutioN:-}SolutioN:−

⇒We know that,

Area \: of \: trapezium \: = \frac{a + b}{2} \times hAreaoftrapezium=2a+b×h

In which 'a' and 'b' are parallel sides and 'h' is height of trapezium or we can say distance between parallel sides.

So, According to question

⇒480 = 20 + b /2 × 15

⇒480 × 2 = 20 + b × 15

⇒960 = 20 + b× 15

⇒960/15 = 20 + b

⇒64 = 20 + b

⇒64 - 20 = b

⇒44 = b

Hence , Other parallel side is 44 cm.

More information:-

Trapezium is a closed figure.

It consists of four sides.

In which 2 sides are parallel.

And two opposite sides are equal but not parallel.

Perimeter of trapezium is A + B + C+ D. In which A , B ,C and D are sides of trapezium.

Area of trapezium is a + b/2×h. In which A and B are parallel sides of trapezium and H is distance between parallel sides.
