the area of trapezium is 720m square . The ratio of the parallel sides is 2:1 if the distance between the parallel sides is 20 cm find their lengths

area of trapezium = 1/2× sum of measures of parallel sides × height

720=1/2×3x×20

72=3x

x=72/3

x=24

2x=48

so length of parallel sides of trapezium are 24 m and 48 m respectively
