Area= 1/2 (Sum of parallel sides) × (Distance between them)

Let distance between them=x

By substituting the formula

960=1/2 (34+46) x

960=1/2 (80) x

960= 40x

x=960/40

x=24

Therefore, distance between them is 24cm
