Answer :

18 cm and 24 cm.

Step-by-step explanation :

Let the one side of trapezium be x. Then, the other side be ( x + 6 )

We know that ;

Area of trapezium = 1 / 2 × sum of || sides × h

⇒168 =  1 / 2 × ( x + x + 6 ) × 8

⇒ 168 = 4 ( 2x + 6 )

⇒ 168 = 8x + 24

⇒ 8x = 168 - 24

⇒ 8x = 144

⇒ x = 144 / 8

⇒ x = 18

Hence,

One parallel side = x = 18 cm.

Other parallel side = x + 6 = 24 cm.

Here's your answer!!

Solution :-

It's given that ,

Area of Trapezium is =

 =  > 168 {cm}^{3}
And its height is = 8 cm

And ,
One side of parallel side is longer than the other By 6 .

So,

Let the length of one side be x .

So , length of Other side = (x +6)

We know that ,

Area of Trapezium =
 =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: side \: ) \times height

Hence,
A/q ,

 =  > 168 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (x + x + 6) \times 8

 =  >  168 = (x + x + 6 ) \times 4

 =  >  \frac{168}{4}  = x + x + 6

 =  > 42 = 2x + 6

 =  > 2x = 42 - 6

 =  > 2x = 36

 =  > x = 18

Therefore,

Length of one side is =x=18cm .

And length of Other side = (x+6) =(18+6)= 24cm

Hope it helps you!! ^^
