the area of trapezium is360cmsquare and the perpendicular distance between parallel side is 12cm.if one of the parallel side is longer than other by 6cm,find the length of parallel sides

are of trapezium= 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) (altitude)
       360cmsq.   = 1/2 (x+x+6) (12)
        360           = 12/2(2x+6)
        360           =6(2x+6)
        360           = 12x+36
   360-36           = 12x
      324              =12x
    x=       324/12    = 27
2x= 27+12=39cm
