formula for the area of a trapezium is '1/2 × h (b1 + b2)"

therefore 1/2 × h (b1 + b2) = 88m²

➡ 1/2 × 8 (12 + b2) = 88m²

➡ 4 (12 + b2) = 88m²

➡ 12 + b2 = 88/4

➡ 12 + b2 = 22

➡ b2 = 22 - 12

➡ b2 = 10m

hence, the Length of the other parallel side is 10m.
