Triangle is formed by x= 0, which is Y axis.

y = 0, which is X axis. &hypotenuse is 3x+4y = a

Here, in the above equation 3x+4y=a

at y= 0, x = a/3 = base of the triangle

& at x= 0 , y = a/4 = altitude of the triangle

Area( tri) = 1/2 * a/3 * a/4 = 6

=> a² = 6 * 6 * 4

=> a = 6 * 2

=> a = 12

Sorry......
