Let base be x

Height = x - 6

area if triangle = 80cm²

We know area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

Then...

1/2 × b × h = 80

b × h = 80 × 2

x(x-6) = 160

--> x² - 6x - 160

- - quadratic equation.....

x² - 10x + 16x - 160

- - > 10 × - 16 = - 160

- - > 10 + - 16 = - 6

x(x - 10) + 16(x - 10)

--> (x-10) (x + 16)

ie x = 10, x = - 16

We reject - 16 since it's value is negative....

Therefore x = 10

Base = 10

Height = x-6 = 10 - 6

= 4

Base = 10

Height = 4

Pls mark it brainliest......!
