the area of triangle is equal to the area of rectangle whose length and breadth are 20 centimeters and 15 centimeters respectively, calculate the height of the triangle if its base measures 30 centimeters

Height of the Triangle is 20cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the Rect. = l×b

                              = 20 × 15

                              = 300 sq.cm

Since the Area of the Rect. = Area of the Tri. as per given in the Qs.

Therefore, Area of the Triangle = 300 sq.cm

Area of the Triangle = 1/2 × b × h

                           300 = 1/2 × 30 × h

                            (300 × 2) / 30 = h

                                      10 × 2 = h

                               Hence , h = 20cm
