area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 20cm × 15cm

=300cm^2

given

area of rectangle = area of triangle

we have to find the height of the triangle

we know that

area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

(given base is 30cm)

300cm^2 = 1/2 × 30cm ×h

h= 300cm^2 × 2 / 30cm

h = 20cm

Answer:

Height=20cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle=Area of the triangle

Finding the area of the rectangle to help find the height of the triangle:

Length=20m

Breath=15cm

Area of a rectangle= breath x length

Area=20cm x 15cm

Area = 300cm

Finding the height of the triangle:

Area=300cm

Base=30cm

Height=?

Triangle area formula:

1/2 x base x height= area of a triangle

Substituting the values:

1/2 x 30cm x ?= 300cm

15?=300cm

?= 300cm/15cm

?= 20cm

height=20cm
