area of triangle=1/2{x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)}
hence, 1/2{0(2-0)+0(0-0)+2(0-2)}
=1/2{0+0-2}
=-2/2=-1

misbahinsbat: the answer is in correct its actually -2

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

as area of the triangle =1/2multiplied into determinant of  1   1    1

                                                                                             x1  x2  x3

                                                                                            y1  y2   y3

so by putting x1=0 x2=0 x3=2  yi=0 y2=2 y3=0

we get area of triangle=-2

and sorry i cant find symbol for determinant so i have mentioned full form
