CD = √ 8^2 + 6^2 = √64 + 36 = √ 100 = 10

As CD is diameter

And OB is radius

So OB= CD/2 = 5

So OB = 5

BT = 4

OT =√ 5^2 + 4^2 = √25 + 16 = √41

Anonymous: i guess 4\sqrt{2} is the answer
VijayaLaxmiMehra1: Nope root41 is the answer

triangle acd is right triangle
CD is the hypotenuse
So by Pythagoras theorem CD is 10cm
O is the centre of the circle
So OC = OD = OB = r = CD/2 = 10/2 = 5cm

In triangle OBT
OB = 5cm
BT = 4cm
OT =?
By Pythagoras theorem
  {ot}^{2}   =   {4}^{2} +  {5}^{2}
ot =   \sqrt{41}  cm
