the area of two similar triangles triangle ABC and triangle PQR and 25 cm^2 and 49 cm^2 respectively ,if QR = 9.8 cm , find BC

we know that ratio of the areas of two similar triangle is equal to the square of their ratios of their corresponding sides.

49/25 =(9.8/BC)^2

7/5=9.8/BC

BC=9.8/7*5

=7.0cm
