The area over which a force of f newton acting is doubled. what change will occur in pressure over that area? can anyone pls give the answer..​

Answer: If F is doubled, P will also get doubles

Explanation: since,

pressure=force/area

new force=2f

P'= 2f/a

P/P'=f/a*a2f/

P/P'=1/2

2P=P'

Hence, new pressure will become 2 times the original pressure
