∵The areas of three adjacent faces of a cuboid are x, y and z Sq. units

∴ x units² = lb

z units² = lh

y units² = bh

where l=length

h = height

b = breadth

V = lbh units³

∴ V² = l²b²h²

         = lb×bh×lh

∴ V² = xyz
