Ms hall was prepared to excuse his strange habits and irritable temper but the money he had stolen did not last long and presently he had to admit that he had no more ready cash , shortly afterwards a curious episode occured very early in the morning a cloge man and his wife were awaken by noises in the study , creeping downstairs they heard the clink of money being taken from the cloge man's desk when news of the Bluglerry at the cloge man's house become known the stranger scientist was strongly suspected having had a hand in it suspension grew even stronger when he suddenly produced some ready cash though he had admitted not long before that he had no money the landlord and his wife were up very early and was surprised to see the scientists door wide open usually it was shut and locked and he was furious if any one entered his room the opportunity seemtobothtomist they peeped thround the room saw nobody and decided to investigate the bed clothes were cold showing that the scentist must have been up for some time and stranger still the clothes and the bandages that he always wore were lying around the room all of a suddens hall heard a sniff close to her ear a moment latter the hat on the bed post left up and dashed itself into her face then the bedroom chair became alive sprining into the air it charge straight at her legs and she and her husband turned away in terror the extra ordinary push them both out of the room and then appear to slam and lock the door after them Ms hall almost fell down the stairs in histrics she was convensed that the room was haunted by spirit's and the stranger had some how cause this to enter into her furniture.the village constable was secretly sent for .instead of waiting for the constable Ms hall went to the scientists who had some how mysteriously appeared from his empty bed room I want to know what u have been doing to my chairs upstairs she demanded I want to know how u came out of an empty room and how u came out of an empty room and how u entered the locked room the scientist was always quick tempered now he became furious suddenly he threw of the bandages ,specticals and even nose it took him only a minute to do this the horrified people in the bar found them selves starring at a head less man Me jophers the constable who had already arrived was quite surprised to find that he had to arrest a man with out a head.
