Explanation:

In the lesson “Quality”, Galsworthy speaks about one Mr. Gessler, a craftsman who had good craftsmanship about manufacturing shoes, but he could not do good business, as the time he spends was for advertisement and not for workmanship.

He felt that his business could flourish if one could catch the attention through advertisement and quality played very little role. People would buy for names and not for the final quality.

Gessler lived with integrity and love for his work and would not make a name by selling his product through publicity.

Till the end, he lived for his customers above his needs.

Answer:The Healer brothers were artist in true sense. They had qualities of dedication, honesty, hard work and sincerity. They had ' two little shops let into one ' in the west end. They made so nice pairs of boots and ' those Pairs could only have been made by the one who saw before him the Soul of boot. Mr. Gessler valued his customers high and spared no pains to satisfy them with his work of quality and durable material of boots. He never compromised with the quality of leather that lasted longer and provided comfort to the provider. Little do they realise that quality or excellence have no value in this fast paced world of advertisement and mass production. The boots from big firms were only ' endeavoring to be fashionable, was not quite comfortable.' The big firms ' get id by advertisement, nod by work.' In the modern world of mass production of cheap quality goods is a posse and advertisement is a means to bhool the customer. No wonder in the age of growing materialism and trendy fashion the ' quality ' has been pushed to the background. The big firms spend a lot on advertisement yo sell their products. In this kind of atmosphere the Healer brothers hardly fit. Gradually there art gets choked and quite miserably they die one after the other.
