The International Astronomical Union (IAU) named the second category of the Solar System as the Dwarf Planet. Asteriods, Majority of them are found in a belt lying between the Mars and Jupiter. Under the Dwarf Planets, Pluto, Ceres and Xena (2003 UB313, now formally know as Eris) have been included. The first ever discovered and the largest asteriods are Ceres. Its diameter is approximately 1000 km.
