The atmosphere is heated more by terrestrial radiation rather than insolution . Explain with reason

Insolation raeches the earths surface in short waves and heat is radiated from the earth in long waves. Hence energy leaving the earths surface terrestrial radiation heats up the atmosphere more than the incoming solar radiation insolation.
